WootAssist does one thing only: It autofills your credit card security code (CVV) on Woot.com’s order page. It’s designed to save you ~0.4 seconds when you’re trying to get that cheap gadget before 20,000 other people cause a sell-out–especially during a WootOff.
How to use WootAssist
- Be using Firefox.
- Download/install Greasemonkey. Greasemonkey is a FF extension that allows users to write DHTML scripts that interact with existing webpages. WootAssist (and many other cool mini-apps) use the Greasemonkey framework. If you already have Greasemonkey installed, make sure it’s at least version 0.3.
- Install WootAssist.
